This policy describes how Kastalien Research handles data for Deftalent. We collect only what the service needs to run.
What we collect
Account data: your email address, used to sign in and to send you request updates. Request data: the role and notes you submit, and the resulting reports. Billing data: purchases and credit balance; payment details are handled directly by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
Candidate data
Candidate profiles and the claims we verify are compiled from public professional sources. We keep the sources we relied on so every claim we deliver can be checked.
Where data lives
Application data — accounts, requests, reports, credit ledgers — is stored in Supabase. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies beyond what’s needed for sign-in and remembering your light/dark preference.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and request data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account or data, contact us and we’ll process the request.
